Today's Morning Edition music is from Charlie Parr with "Over the Red Cedar," a new song that the Duluth-based singer/songwriter will include on an album that will be released in April.

The album will be his first on Twin Cities-based Red House Records and his first with a full band.

Parr is currently touring with another band from Duluth, Trampled By Turtles. On Saturday night they play at the former home of the Grand Ole Opry, the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.
