Mod Sun releases new album
Today's Morning Edition music is from "Goddess" a track from a new album by Mod Sun, which is being released Tuesday.
The Bloomington, Minn., native will celebrate the album's release with a concert Tuesday night at First Avenue in Minneapolis.
The name Mod Sun is an acronym for "Movement On Dreams Stand Under None." He says his music is designed as an escape from all the negativity in the world today.
"It's about empowerment. It's about saying it's OK to sit by yourself on a Friday night and make music. You'll never be lonely if you love the person you're alone with."
