Emergency crews are responding to a reported bridge collapse along an interstate in central Texas.
The Bell County Sheriff's Department says the accident happened late Thursday morning along Interstate 35 in Salado, about 40 miles north of Austin.
Lt. Donnie Adams says traffic has been halted in both directions. Adams says he didn't immediately have additional details on possible injuries or what caused the accident.
The Texas Department of Transportation had no immediate information on the incident.
