A man was found shot to death in the Ventura Village neighborhood of south Minneapolis on Tuesday night.
Police responding to reports of gunfire found the man dead on the 2200 block of 13th Avenue South shortly before 11 p.m., according to spokesperson John Elder. The victim's name will likely be released later Wednesday by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
Detectives are making headway on the homicide investigation, Elder said, but aren't yet ready to name suspects.
