Today's Morning Edition music is from Shonen Knife with "Osaka Rock City," a song off their latest album.

The Japanese female trio is marking their 30th year performing together. They cite the Ramones as an important influence on their sound, and are currently touring with a former member of the Ramones.

C.J. Ramone played bass in that band from 1989 to 1996. He also has a new album out.
