A 17-year-old Eden Prairie High School student who went into cardiac arrest last week while having her wisdom teeth removed died Monday.
Sydney Galleger's family announced her death on her CaringBridge website Monday night.
Galleger had been hospitalized since June 9, when her blood pressure rose dramatically and she went into cardiac arrest during the dental procedure, according to her family. She received treatment at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital.
A funeral service is planned for Saturday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie.
