Minneapolis pastor reacts to Charleston church shooting

Nine people including the pastor were killed at the downtown Emanuel AME Church in Charleston Wednesday.

Police say the young white man in custody joined a prayer meeting at the church and then opened fire. Authorities believe it was a hate crime.

Reverend Nazim Fakir from St. Peter's African Methodist Episcopal Church in Minneapolis joined MPR News' Tom Weber to talk about the tragedy.
