Timberwolves weigh options for first NBA draft pick
The NBA draft takes place tonight in New York.
For the first time in team history, the Minnesota Timberwolves will select whomever they want. The Wolves won the chance to select the first overall pick.
On Wednesday, Flip Saunders, head coach and president of basketball operations for the Wolves, talked about how the team is approaching its selection.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Britt Robson, a longtime Wolves watcher, about Saunders' comments and the speculation around 19-year-old Karl-Anthony Towns from the University of Kentucky. Towns is considered by many to be the hottest prospect in college basketball this year.
