Man fatally shot at Coon Rapids bar

A 29-year-old man was shot and killed outside a Coon Rapids bar early Thursday morning.
Police were called to Willy's Bar on Coon Rapids Boulevard at about 12:41 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the Anoka County Sheriff's Office. The shooting victim was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. He has not yet been identified.
The suspect has been arrested, although police are still searching for the suspect's vehicle. The 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee is green or black and has license place number 792-PLT. Law enforcement officials are asking anyone with knowledge of the vehicle's whereabouts to contact them at (763) 427-1212.
The incident is being investigated by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, Coon Rapids Police Department and the Anoka County Medical Examiner's Office.
