Police search for missing Minneapolis 16-year-old

Authorities in Blaine and Minneapolis say they're looking for Elena Geiger, 16, last seen July 6. They believe she is on the run and may be in danger.

Police are asking for help in locating a 16-year-old Twin Cities girl who has been missing since last week.

Police said Elena Alison Geiger of Minneapolis ran away from Blaine, Minn., on July 6, and may be a risk to herself.

Geiger is described as a 5'3" white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, green cut-off shirt, shorts and flip-flops.

Anyone with information about Geiger's whereabouts is urged to contact the Minneapolis Police Department at (612) 692-8477.
