Congressman Erik Paulsen recently introduced a bill into Congress that's aimed at improving the tax code and regulatory environment for craft breweries, wineries and distilleries.

The Republican lawmaker previously pushed for legislation like this on craft brewers, but the new bill expands those efforts to craft distilleries and wineries. It would cut the excise tax they pay on the alcohol and get rid of a few other regulations.

Paulsen joined MPR News' Tom Weber to discuss his bill.
