James Bond movies had only one No. 1 song
A song by Sheena Easton didn't do it — neither did one from superstar Carly Simon. And neither did a song by Sir Paul McCartney.
None of those songs from James Bond movies made it to No. 1 in the U.S., despite ties to the mega-popular film franchise.
But it did finally happen.
"A View to a Kill" by Duran Duran hit No. 1 30 years ago for the James Bond movie of the same name. It's the only song from a Bond film to make it to that spot.
