It's a discussion that not many people are eager to have — the talk about what kind of end-of-life medical care he or she would like to have.
Now that Medicare has agreed to cover the clinicians' costs of these in-office talks, there is more reason for patients to have these discussions to save confusion and difficult decisions later on when a patient becomes gravely ill.
