Musician Ben Kyle is the frontman for the alt-country band Romantica.

Ben Kyle, of the Twin Cities band Romantica, will play tonight at 7 p.m. at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis.
Kyle, who sings today's Morning Edition music song, "The Dark," was born in Ireland, but his family moved to Minnesota when he was a teenager.
The Dakota describes the Romantica's music as "Irishness couched in the musical landscape of historically American country and folk."
