New guidelines could stem rising tide of hospitalizations related to food allergies

The American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology came out with new recommendations earlier this year, encouraging parents to give foods such as eggs and peanuts to babies from 4 to 6 months, in an effort to prevent allergies from manifesting later in childhood.
