It's the first full week of operation for the Twin Cities' newest grocery store chain: Hy-Vee opened stores in Oakdale and New Hope to much fanfare last Tuesday.
The company is aggressively targeting the Twin Cities. Two more stores are slated open in the metro next year.
That movement leaves questions about how well the area's other grocery mainstays like Cub Foods and Lunds & Byerly's will be able to compete.
