Pixar's Pete Docter: Art is essential

Pete Docter says movies are art, and all art is storytelling. He believes art is as essential as breathing and eating.

The Minnesota native is a writer, director and animator at Pixar Studios. His film "Up" was nominated for six Academy Awards and won for Best Animated Feature Film. His new movie is "Inside Out."

Docter was a featured speaker at the Westminster Town Hall Forum in Minneapolis, Monday, Sept. 28, 2015.
