An arm of the University of Wisconsin that handles the school's patent rights scored a major victory this week.
A jury found Apple guilty of using technology patented by the university back in the '90s in many of its iPhones and iPads.
UW is now waiting to see what damages will be awarded in the lawsuit. That figure could be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
