A 52-year-old bicyclist has died after being hit by a car about two weeks ago on Minnesota Highway 65 in Fridley.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Christina SpiritWolf of Fridley died Sunday at Hennepin County Medical Center. SpiritWolf was riding in the opposite direction of traffic and suddenly veered in front of the car, a spokesperson for the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said.
SpiritWolf was struck around 9 a.m. on Oct. 10. The driver stopped immediately and did not show signs of being impaired and had no cell phone. The Anoka County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol continue to investigate.
