Suspect arrested after man fatally stabbed in S. St. Paul

A man was stabbed to death in South St. Paul early Wednesday morning.
The victim was found by South St. Paul police officers in front of a home on the 400 block of Fourth Avenue South at about 2 a.m. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. The victim's name will be released after his family is notified.
A suspect who apparently knew the victim was arrested a short distance from the scene. Police say it appears that the stabbing was an isolated incident between acquaintances and that there is no threat to the public.
