Lizzo lays bare her 'blackness, womanhood' in new album

Today's Morning Edition music is from Minneapolis-based hip-hop star Lizzo with her new song "Aint I," which was released this week.
It's from her forthcoming album "Big GRRRL, Small World." In an email to The Fader magazine, Lizzo writes: "Aint I is the thesis of the album, Sojourner Truth's witness. All of my blackness and my womanhood crammed into 3 minutes and 56 seconds."
Lizzo says her new album will take on racism, feminism and body image. It's due out in December.
