Police: Kayaker finds body in New Brighton lake

Authorities say a body has been recovered from a New Brighton lake near an area where search crews have looked for a missing Mounds View man.
New Brighton police say officers responded to Rush Lake around 4:30 p.m. Monday after a kayaker reported seeing a body in the water. The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Water Patrol assisted in recovering the body.
Police weren't able to identify the gender, age or race of the victim. An autopsy will be conducted by the Ramsey County medical examiner's office.
Thirty-two-year-old Henry McCabe was last seen Sept. 6 at a nightclub in Spring Lake Park. Last month, searchers looking for McCabe checked nearby areas of New Brighton, including Creekview Park, where the last call was placed from his cellphone.
