Police say a man was fatally shot and a woman was critically injured as they sat in a parked car in south Minneapolis.
Officers on patrol in the city's 3rd Precinct heard a series of gunshots and found the couple in the car about 2 a.m. Monday.
The woman was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. Authorities say a suspect had fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
