Man found dead in northern Minnesota froze to death

Police in northern Minnesota say a man found dead in an Eveleth park died of hypothermia.

The body of Kyle Steven Shock, 29, was found Thursday morning.

Preliminary autopsy results show Shock died of "hypothermia due to cold exposure."

Eveleth Police Chief Tim Koivunen tells The Mesabi Daily News of Virginia that the autopsy found no foul play. Koivunen says alcohol apparently was a factor in Shock's death.

Shock had lived in Eveleth the past couple of years and previously lived in Virginia, Minnesota.
