Cokato museum's escape room a first in Minnesota

The Cokato City Museum is launching a new interactive experience for visitors that the museum tonight.

It's called an "escape room." Participants must solve a historical puzzle inside a locked room within the allotted time, or an alarm sounds.

MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Johanna Ellison, a museum employee who is putting the room together. Ellison says it's the first time that it's been tried at a museum in Minnesota.
