Today's news out of Flint, Mich., is that the mayor is proposing a $55 million plan to remove and replace all water pipes containing lead in homes there.
As the Flint water crisis continues, MPR News' regular medical analyst Dr. Jon Hallberg answered some questions on what lead can do to the body, and why it's worse for children and developing bodies.
He also discussed what the situation in Flint says about our public health infrastructure.
