New DHS Commissioner on mental health services, 2016 priorities

Tom Weber was joined by Emily Johnson Piper, the new commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).

Piper reacted to a new report from the state Legislative Auditor that identifies flaws in services for people with mental illnesses.

During the conversation, Piper also took questions about the Minnesota Sex Offender Program, the so-called "48-hour rule," and her priorities in the upcoming Legislative session.
