A police officer was taken to the hospital after he was injured during a traffic stop in Crystal.
Police say the officer stopped a vehicle about 11 p.m. Wednesday and the driver did not comply with his orders, then fled on foot.
KSTP-TV reports the officer said he thought he heard gunfire, but was not hit. However, the officer injured his leg, causing him to collapse.
He was treated and released from North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Police say they've made an arrest.
