Sturgill Simpson out with new album
Today's Morning Edition music is from Sturgill Simpson with "Between the Lines" from his new album "A Sailor's Guide to Earth."
This is the followup to his acclaimed debut album "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music." Like his first album, this one is a unique blend of country, rock and R&B.
In this collection of songs, Simpson draws on his experiences in the Navy and elsewhere as he ponders what awaits his newborn son.
