Afton to vote on new mosque
The city of Afton may soon be home to a 10,500 square foot new Islamic center. If the city council approves a conditional-use Tuesday night, this would be Afton's mosque. In some other Minnesota cities, Muslims have faced stiff opposition when trying to build a place of worship, but that's not been the case in Afton.
