Drug agents have raided an auto repair shop in Mankato after an employee told authorities that workers were given methamphetamine as bonus pay.
Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force agents tell KTOE Radio News an owner of Clear Choice Auto Repair watched as his girlfriend gave a half gram of meth to each employee as a bonus at a company meeting Wednesday night. It wasn't immediately clear how many employees were involved. But, authorities say one of them told law enforcement about the drug bonuses.
Agents say a search of the business early Thursday turned up syringes that field-tested positive for methamphetamine as well as a digital scale that contained meth residue.
Correction (April 21, 2016): This story has been corrected to note the alleged bonuses were given out Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
