What do we regret?
Earlier this month Tom Caldwell took out an ad in Canadian Jewish News.
Caldwell is the CEO of Caldwell Securities Ltd., in Toronto, but the ad wasn't for his business. It was an apology.
The ad read like this:
To Howard Rosen, sorry I punched at Runnymede Public School in the early 1950s. Tom Caldwell.
That experience may be specific to Tom, but the feeling of regret is one that many of us share.
