Today's Morning Edition music is from Charles Bradley with "Changes," the title track from his new album.

He'll be performing tonight at First Avenue in Minneapolis.

The story of how Bradley went from being homeless to working as a James Brown impersonator to releasing his first album at the age of 62 is told in the documentary "Soul of America."

On this, his third album, Bradley broadens his influences. "Changes" was first recorded by Black Sabbath in 1972.
