Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have both exceeded the number of delegates needed to be the nominee for their respective parties.

In April, Trump revealed his "America First", and earlier this month Clinton spoke in San Diego about her plans for national security.

MPR News Host Kerri Miller invited three foreign policy experts into the studio for a roundtable on the international challenges facing the next president.

Hicham Bow Nassif is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Carleton College.

Mary Curtin is a former foreign service officer and current Diplomat in Residence at the University of Minnesota.

Nick Hayes is a professor of history and the University Chair in Critical Thinking at Saint John's University.
