State Sen. Scott Dibble of Minneapolis, an activist for gay rights, attended a vigil Sunday night in Loring Park.

People around the world and here in Minnesota are trying to make sense of what happened in Orlando early Sunday morning.  That's when a gunman killed 49 people and wounded dozens of others in a shooting at a gay nighclub.  One of them is State Sen. Scott Dibble of Minneapolis.
