For thousands of Minnesota students, surviving the school day isn't as simple as it seems.
MPR News host Tom Weber leads a conversation that examines what schools are doing and what more they could be doing to address mental health issues in the classroom.
Weber is joined by three experts on these matters: Mark Sander, director of mental health for Hennepin County and Minneapolis Public Schools; Maria Le, a first-grade teacher at Central Park Elementary School; and Kara Sankaran, mental health program supervisor at the Washburn Center for Children.
