Authorities got a call from an ambulance crew about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. The paramedics saw a car that had struck a pole. They told police that two people got out of the car and were arguing, but uninjured. The crew drove away.

As police responded, other callers told dispatchers two men were trying to drag another man from the car.
