As another school year gets underway, Minnesota's Teacher of the Year joined MPR News host Tom Weber to talk education.

 teaches eighth-grade language arts at Best Academy in Minneapolis. He's the 52nd recipient of the Minnesota Teacher of the Year award, and the first-ever charter school teacher to win it. The awards are sponsored by the teachers union 

Wright offered his perspective on education issues in the news, and on what makes a top-notch teacher.
