Olympic silver medalist Alise Post has been honored with a homecoming parade in Minnesota.
Post won the silver medal in women's BMX cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Her hometown of St. Cloud honored her with a parade Saturday.
The St. Cloud times reports Post told a gathering before the parade that it's "always such a good feeling to come home and have such good hometown support."
St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis introduced Post before the parade. Kleis called it "a great day and such a tremendous honor to have our local hero here."
Post graduated in 2009 from St. Cloud Tech. She competed in women's BMX in the 2012 London Olympics and is not ruling out competing at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
