Pedestrian killed on Highway 7 in west metro

The State Patrol said a pedestrian was killed in a crash on Minnesota Highway 7 and County Road 101 in Minnetonka.
The fatal crash happened shortly after 6 a.m., but the patrol hasn't released any details on what happened.
Westbound Highway 7 traffic was closed between County Road 101 and Vine Hill Road for a few hours, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
