Today's Morning Edition music is from the Bayside Boys' remix of "Macarena," which was No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart 20 years ago.
The Bayside Boys were a group of Miami-based producers who added English lyrics to the song by the Spanish group Los del Rio. The clave rhythm of the tune inspired a dance that became an international sensation.
"Macarena" spent a near-record 14 weeks at the top of the charts and VH1 listed it as the greatest one-hit wonder of all time.
