Lynx headline a busy sports weekend for Minnesota fans
The sports action is fast and furious around Minnesota this week.
The Gopher football team takes on Iowa in a battle for the Floyd of Rosedale trophy on Saturday, while the Lynx begin the WNBA Finals this Sunday at Target Center in Minneapolis against the Los Angeles Sparks.
MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about those teams, plus the Gopher volleyball team and the head coach for the Gopher men's hockey team who has just received a contract extension.
