Richard Tsong-Taatarii, a staff photographer for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, was at Standing Rock documenting the Dakota Access pipeline protests over the weekend.
He joined All Things Considered host Tom Crann via cell phone from North Dakota, where the protesters' camp is located near the town of Cannon Ball.
