Pert Near Sandstone performs pert near MPR studios
Heroes of Minnesota's rollicking roots music scene, Pert Near Sandstone, joined MPR News host Tom Weber in the Maud Moon Weyerhaeuser studio for fun conversation about clogging, 12-point bucks and endless touring.
The newgrass-bluegrass band also participated in a surprise quiz about Sandstone, Minn., and the results were pert near perfect. Their performances included tunes from their new album, "Discovery of Honey," as well as a classic from "Needle and Thread."
