Controlling parasites may not be as good as it sounds

Whether we're trying to avoid disease or preserve the health of our pets, the results of our efforts to control parasites are not always clear — and there can be surprising consequences.

MPR News host Tom Weber was joined by two University of Minnesota scientists, Marlene Zuk and Tiffany Wolf, who think about the complex — and sometimes counter-intuitive — relationship between people, the policies they create and the environment.
