If you're big into numbers, it's your time at the Minnesota Legislature.

State lawmakers are discussing where to direct billions of dollars of your money. Broad-ranging tax and spending bills are moving through House and Senate committees and will start to reach floor votes this week.

There's no shortage of acronyms and legislative jargon flying around, so MPR's Cathy Wurzer checked in with political reporter Brian Bakst, who provided some context for the action at the Capitol.
