Januarys starting to trend warmer than average

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with University of Minnesota climatologist Mark Seeley about the latest climate data that shows that the month of January in recent years has been much warmer than average in Minnesota.

July has not heated up as much.

He also has a forecast that includes the potential for thunderstorms in southern Minnesota this weekend.
