President Trump's foreign policy may seem inconsistent to some people — and to some of America's allies abroad. But to others, the inconsistencies themselves appear to be a unique nimble strategy.

After all, how could one unifying policy ever respond to the vague global threats and moving-target crises that cross continents and cultures?

MPR News guest host Tiffany Hanssen talked with Stephen Sestanovich from the Council on Foreign Relations and Columbia University about the Trump administration's unconventional approach to foreign policy might actually be more in tune with an increasingly intricate web of foreign policy.
