La Santa Cecilia on NPR's First Listen
Today's Morning Edition is from "Amar Y Vivir," which means "love life." It's the title track from the new album by the Los Angeles-based band La Santa Cecilia.
Their previous records have demonstrated an eclectic mix of influences. This one is a collection of traditional boleros and rancheras recorded live at various historic open air plazas, cantinas and theaters in Mexico City.
