Former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page was the first African-American on Minnesota's high court. He shared his views on education and mentoring, race relations in America, and the importance of equal justice under the law.

The NFL Hall of Famer, distinguished jurist and educational leader told retired MPR host Gary Eichten that what he's most proud of is his 44-year marriage to his wife, Diane.

The event was hosted May 9, 2017, by the Friends of the University of Minnesota Libraries.
